Sweden is famous for its unusual yet sumptuous apple pie. This pie is essentially a pie without a crust and instead is a pie that is made of sweet apples in a toffee like mixture. This pie is delicious and whether you are an apple pie fan or not you are sure to like this pie. After all what comes out of Sweden that isn’t good?
Ingredients:
- about five apples that are medium sized
- one and a quarter cups of sugar
- three teaspoons of cinnamon
- three-quarters of a cup of butter
- one cup of flour
- one egg
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice, peel and core your apples, then put them into a pie pan.
- Combine a quarter cup of sugar with three teaspoon of cinnamon
- Sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
- Melt your butter.
- Mix the flour, eggs and sugar together.
- Pour the butter and the flour, sugar and egg mixture over the pie.
- Bake it for about 45min.
